  24.  I guess, that there's still a lot assembler - and even if there's
  25.  mostly C code, that does not mean, that is is really portable

  29.  in the system"-code of SAS/C (so being compatible to all of its
  30.  features like __asm arguments, __saveds and #pragmas) it should
  31.  be much easier to be ported.
